Miss me with a 78 max 3 point rating!?Ī change? For an example, if you're drafted to the NBA, it doesn't mean you're a talent all around, some people are talented for some things, other people for other things, but if I weren't talented then I wouldn't play in the NBA. I hate going through bs hours of playing with meta builds, averaging 2 points a game with a billion turnovers just to compete online. Another fun part that I love to do is create what if seasons where maybe KD didn't leave the Warriors and go from there, or I'll control 1 or every team after the IRL NBA season has ended and simulate exactly what happened (to the best of my abilities) by winning every game that every NBA team did.īottom point, I just don't see myself ever really playing M圜areer again because I'm an offline dude and it feels like the game mode keeps punishing the offline fanbase. I love to control an existing player and play "Create a Legend" with them (2k11-13 players remember this) or an entire team and try to simulate their irl offensive/defensive schemes. Sometimes I'll mix management with player control, sometimes I'll simulate through a season. Now I ask you, what other changes do you think 2k needs to add to make my career more entertaining? All that hard work was useless because you could just, in one workout session decide what you do for your rookie season. The only adversity your player faces is made up, meant to be challenging but only for the character and not for you as a player, everything from high school to draft day doesn’t matter because you can chose what team to go to, even if you get drafted 30th overall pick in the draft you could get picked by any team you decide. The main problem it has is that your player already has a story. If you get drafted high you should be put on a rebuilding team so at least it’s challenging for most of the people who play 2k, if you get drafted later you can get put on a contending team and pretty much make yourself a super team but if you play bad pre draft you won’t even get drafted and will be forced into the g-league where you have to work to get into the nba, it needs to be more about you making it into the nba and becoming your own player, wether that’s you becoming the next goat or you becoming the next Anthony Bennett. Why is there no option to have it like the old 2ks where you had to work to get drafted, why can I just pick any team and don’t even have to play threw the rookie contract? I can just, up and leave at the end of the year and if I really don’t like the team I picked I could request a trade after only 10 games. it’s starting to be the same thing every year, your my player is the physical embodiment of Christ himself playing basketball and it’s getting kinda boring playing that. 2k should take out the story aspect of my career.
